Finally Week 3 is over!~ What a week. HRM turns out to be fine, our class did a good job of creating a nice first impression for Prof PC. We did not get "shoot" at a lot though compared with otehr classes. But then, the workload is still tedious and troublesome as always. No sign of reducing. :(

Frankly speaking, i really DETEST tuitions now. Half of my week is virtually filled with tuitons, and its 3 tuitions consecutively daily for 3 Consecutives days! Argh! PSLE is coming soon and all the parents start to request for 3 times tution per week. Aww. Really nothing nice to look forward to now. Except that after every tuition, i start to feel a bit happier, that by the end of the day, after the 3rd tuiton i felt so relieved and tired that i dun have the mood to revise my studies or do my tuts. 恶性循环!This is getting worse... and my tuitions kids are not making me any better too. Especially the night tuition kid... the ONLY question he will ask me is: " What time is it?" =_= Always make me feel that the night is longer than normal....

How i wish PSLEs are over now... :(

And next week, my RT starts. Oh great. :\

Fri. Went out to PSA to conduct interview with Mr chong. (cause of stupid HRM tut!!) Well, its been quite some time since i left it. Some things have changed ...well, some things have not. Mr Chong!! Got quite a shock when i saw him, he seem to have more white hair now..(oh gosh, this project is stressing everyone out...) Had a talk with my ia dearest site supervisor too. Ahh..everything still haven changed much except that he is busier now after i left. (That LWP never allocate manpower to him...how heartless...) Oh well, good luck and take care there, guys. :)

Since i already here...(and skipped school), might as well drop by and visit Har Par Villa. haha. Not many people here though....except for a few tourists. Is it still considered a tourist attraction? hmm..

Celebrated the birthdays of 3 friends on sundays. All at one go. Its always an advantage when u have friends in same birthday month and week as urs. Cause everyone will remember it somehow! Its all linked, haha. The only bad thing for these bdae boys is that our "budget" for their presents will naturally decrease as well. Haha. We just settled it with a dinner treat of zi char at sembawang. Good "atmosphere" too...with the heavy rain and mini flood there. lol. happy birthday to gz, kok and jw. :) Funny...when i asked them when is my birthday, none of them get it right! Even after dropping hints like its a single digit day, they guessed and guessed until the last possible number!! 没良心。。。这些家伙。。。=.= Haha, thats the disadvantage when ur birthday is "solo". Well, better than the one who we remembered the birthday but we PURPOSELY act blur de.... HAHA. like almost the end of the year? ;)

Thats it. This pioneer shuttle bus service is getting on my nerves. Waited for half an hour before i finally managed to squeeze in. During this half hour got a few shuttlle buses passed by, but all Off Service. So Maddening. Failed to squeeze in the first bus that finally stopped. And the most furious thing is those SMUG faces on the bus who grinned at us from the bus window pane. Really. Feel like throwing my shoe at them. SERIOUSLY. think i better stick to my faithful 179 next time. :(

First lesson in prof comm.

A businessman in a hot air balloon realized he was lost. He reduced altitude and spotted a woman below. He descended a bit more and shouted,” Excuse me, can you help? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."

The woman below thought carefully for five minutes, and then replied, "You are in a hot air balloon hovering approximately 30 feet above the ground. You are between 40 and 41 degrees north latitude and between 59 and 60 degrees west longitude."

"You must be an engineer," said the balloonist.

"I am," replied the woman. "How did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist, "you took a long time to respond, and everything you told me is technically correct, but it is of no value to my problem. I am still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help so far."

The woman below responded, "You must be in management."

"I am," replied the balloonist, "but how did you know?"

"Well," said the woman, "you don't know where you are or where you are going. You have risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise which you have no idea how to keep, and you expect people beneath you to solve your problems. The fact is you are in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but now, somehow, it's My Fault!"

Instead of replying with data that is of no value, the woman can toss up a cell phone to allow the businessman to call his friend and reschedule. The businessman would still be lost, and hovering in a balloon… but at least his pressing concerns would be met.

Usefulness is so much more important. . .

Consider the needs of the audience before delivering the requested information, and then deliver what they need in a clear manner, even if it is not technically what they asked for. . .

First day of school.

Everywhere was like so crowded. Dreaded first day of school. Even ihub or lwn lib is full of pple printing notes. Cant find a decent place to print. Met my fyp prof too and saw the computer application the previous batch of students had done. A lot can be improved...but requires a lot of time and effort. zzz.

And the worse thing is the HRM lecture. Idiot... totally RUINED my mood for my rest of the evening. Dun really like the way the lecturer talked. No wonder "you" became so popular that students had to resort to spending 4k in hongkong taking HRM JUST to avoid ur course. Ur words really get me worried about my future and . . . my school life for the rest of this semester....

Face it ba. Its reality. :\

Last day to school starts.

Went to marina barrage with Kratos grp members. A bit sad that quite a few cant make it last minute. First time going to marina barrage and its really a nice place! We reached around 4pm which is super hot! thus, we had our picnic near sheltered area. (near the toilet. =.=) While waiting for the sun to set, or waiting for the time when its not too sunny, we played poker cards. Asshole "tai di". And they even give those funny nicknames such as the top 3 positions be prof, assiocate prof and undergrad and the lower 3 pple be A,0 level students and the last...school dropout! oh my. Very creative. haha. Sometimes i dunno why when i start to lose, i always lose till the end. Speaking of bad luck. :(

When we finished playing or rather, when i am tired of "losing", its almost evening. We visited the exhibition there, showing about the history of marina barrage and the "lessons" on WATER. It was very nicely done though. Especially the phototaking section. Say "cheese"~ Haha.

At last we went to the top and try our luck on kiteflying. The view there was fantastic!~ Can see the sg flyer too. Frankie bought his own kite and it was cool~ And needless to say, his was easily flown up in the sky!~ Unlike our dear CT, with her 10 series kites...it was a disaster. Firstly, it was bought from cash converters.(unreliable stuff sometimes). Secondly, it costs only $3, some says the more expensive the item is , the better the quality is. Had to agree to this "theory" in this case... Lastly the silliest thing of all, the 10 series kite look cool...but the string is too short...30cm? How to fly ???!! Frankie's kite string was at least 30m long lo. lol. We can only take the kite and run very fast around the marina barrage. I tried and it works, the kite did fly but...not high enough due to short short string. And i looked like a complete idiot, everyone was like staring at me. -_- And the worst thing... the 10 kites entangles within themselves very soon. HAHA. In the end we had to cut it to 6 series. Lol. poor kite.

We stayed till night fall. The night view was very beautiful! And the fountain is nice!~ Went to lau pa sa for our dinner. And we still have a lot of drinks and some food leftover from our picnic. Forfeit time! (this bunch of crazy freshies, especially junwei...) Poor yiu hang...he looks like he wanna puke le...hahaha. And me, and although i lost again, i quite happy with this food punishment. haha. free yummy chicken wing!~ :D On the way home, we chatted a bit and mentioned about clubbing. When i asked them casually to guess how many times i went to club before, they all replied ZERO in unison. And THEIR reason? Since i joined WSC Ignite Change camp, i must be those “乖乖" type... oh my... =_='' So funny~

Ah...National day. Holiday. Did a bit of clearing in my room. Instead of starting with my shelves and tables, i start with my wardrobe. And oh my...its super messy and all jumbled up. After like "choking" with dust for a couple hours, managed to get rid of my unwanted "抹布" look alike clothes. Those undersized or super old clothes like my jc and sec schools shirts. (cant believe i kept them "hidden" for so long...) And its also rather embarrassing to see those clothes or shorts that i bought during NS life, i cant fit in anymore. :( Especially my MP number 3 uniform! oh gosh! Never mind, still can keep it, hopefully i can still wear it again...some day. haha.

And by chance of discovery, i found 2 drawers full of old textbooks, especially from sec 1 to 4 chinese textbooks and 词语手册. And many more model chinese essays. haha. still can imagine how passionate i was towards learning chinese THAT time. lolx. But then back to reality, those 2 dusty drawers. Well. other day then clean ba. :P

Jw is back from US and oh my, how blaack he turned into!! well, which reminds me of zy too when he went for work and study in US during the hols. same case, very tanned now. haha.

Sebastian was also back from china gip. Went to school together with a few coursemates to buy some notes, which in the end they only sell notes for one module only!! The rest have to print ourselves. Finally had a very vague briefing on our fyp projects by the senior student too. Our fyp prof still MIA. Only managed to get some soft copy materials and we still haven got a clue where and how to start. :(

Went to watch G.I.Joe!! YEs!! At last!! feels so happy and satisfied!!! :D But somehow, i feel like i am a lightbulb during the movie. Hmm, but i too engrossed during the movie to notice what they were doing anyway. :P haha. Lucky managed to get qx to accompany me for dinner else i will be lightbulb again for dinner. haha. Later, after movie, she suggested to go to her house for dinner cause her mum cooked penang laksa! I was almost tempted to agree straight away but then . . . i think its 醉翁之意不在酒, somemore its not really that appropriate for me to go too, especially for such a scenerio. Oh well. Its hard to be the middle man sometimes. haha.

School starting soon next week le...and ahh...still trying to adjust myself to academic life. Hmm...starting to miss my IA life...lol

And tmr going to be hell for me. 4 tuitions consecutively. From afternoone ot night. :(:(:(

Saturday Evening

Once Every 4 years ... AISS 2F 1999 Gathering

At last... haha. Met jjj and kw and go together for the bbq at downtown east. At the bus stop, met ht too. In the end, we get a ride from jasmine. Well, looking at how she is now..hmm...难免会有点心酸吧...

Today's gathering was quite a success. At least got half of the class got turn out and oh man... look at us. Its been 10 years and so much had changed! Lets see... we have future researchers who studying PhDs now, air force officer, a few who work overseas(in USA somemore! wow), associate directors in property, future musician, and ... congrats to azhar! A father of 2 sons already, haha, thanks, you really "caught" us off guard! :) Well, we can still recognise each other, but i afraid the closeness we once had ... may not be that strong now. Its funny..how the classmates i had known, same class for consecutively 6 years, are like total strangers now. We didnt talk much and u all also left early. ah. . . quite sad... hmm seems as if u all had your own individual life le. Compared to the "ah beng" who i had known for only one year in AI, turns out to the one i can click the most with that day. oh my. What an irony. haha.

We also talked about our previous teachers. Like our music teacher, Ms june wong who is now a prof of music at NIE and also Miss Ng PL, who was now married with a foreigner. Gossip mainly. haha. And... eguene! Our school violinist! haha, u still haven changed much, ur way of talking still the same...haha, same old eguene. :) Next time we buy tickets to see ur performance! :D We had a great chat together, like how we commented the younger "generations" dont know what G.I.Joe is about cause that was during our "年代"! lol. that really makes us sound OLD. haha.

The highlight is of course, waiting for the arrival of our form teacher, Mr Hasrin. :) Our special guest! And he was late. hoho. But at least he came.. but too bad, by that time, most of us had left. Still remember his glittering "$" sign belt he wore that day. HAha.

2F gathering...kudos to our class chairman and Liaw for organising this gathering. :) Really bring back a lot of memories. Hopefully, we can see each other again within 4 years and NOT 10 years! HAha.

2 + F = inverted 九 (figure it out?)

Busy with tuitions again. Oh gosh, how am i going to cope with my tuitions/Rt/studies when school reopens? oh my. faintz. And . . . i just agreed to help out every sat somemore. uh huh.

Saturday morning

Thanks to david for organising this crossfire paintball. Earlier jh already wanted to organiSe and play with our coursemates but ended up it never happen. haha. A 3 round game consisting of shooting the opponent's balloon, capture the flag and team elimination. (well, FPS gamers should know very well what it is all abt just by hearing the names alone. haha. Its amazing how such terms never change over time, almost like universal words le) 17 pple joined, including some HIs, and we spilt into 4 teams of 4-5 pple. When the instructors fired the shots as demonstration, i was like wondering how painful it would be if u got shot at. but then i realised later it doesnt really matter..... cause i dun really feel the pain only after the whole game. haha. erm..ouch?

It was a very fast paced game and.... super exciting. Get my adrenaline rushing! yes!! Maybe thats why i always dash to the front line first when the round started. haha! Sometimes i really think i got too close..less than the safety 7 m? :P Dunno why is it because of army, games or movies, i had this mentality of those who fire the first shot always win. (erm, of course if you are accurate that is) But somehow, in this crossfire paintball, accuracy is not that good, no zeroing at all, in fact using the rifle as we are taught in army wont work at all, had to agar agar shoot and hope u scored a hit. haha. i think... we can even stand upright from some distance and pple will still miss. :P We had to get closer. This 3 rounds of games are very short, and by the end of first round i already out of pellets. haha. should have conserve it. My team won 1/3 of the rounds and mei ying was commenting that we should have bought more ammo earlier, like 200 pellets each, so that we can use it like a machine gun and play like rambo!! LOL. crazy idea, but i liked it!! HAHAHA. One bad thing, is that it is also physically tiring too, imagine had to squat and run continously all around, well, unless u decided to camp, that is. haha. Personally, i think crossfire paintball is fun....but not really worth the money. $26 for short 3 rounds. erm... maybe we should play with laser rifles next time. Should be also quite fun. hee. :)

* Had lunch together at ajisen. RESPECT!*
