Yest went for Rsphi Appreciation Dinner. Quite disappointed lei, out batch only a few turned out. Imagine a table only got 5 of us. Haha. in the end ,we joined the table with the seniors. the more the merrier, same with the atmosphere too. :) The theme is GEEK and its amazing how the juniors dresses up. Really ON!! oh my!! Crazy batch of juniors. lol. Especially kian chyle and hui hui, the nerdy student looks. *thumbs up*! haha. And the performance by the farrago juniors too! Really is a Surprise! "撑腰!". Congrats to the new 15th comm members too, especially shihui, wj and huadong. Yeah, as what one of u had said, there are better candidates than you, but what is ADMIRABLE is that u are willing to step out and give it a try. *clap clap* And to the farrago juniors too, hope they can support the new coordinator and CHs. That is really important...dun wish history to repeat itself... And the food, its a torture to see yet cannot eat to my heart's content. cant eat too much due to the marathon later... :( *Thanks to wenyao for the editing. feel SO touched! u never forget me . . . i mean us :P *
Had to leave early from the dinner to go for the Sundown Marathon. Its only held for the second time and whats special abt this marathon is that the run is conducted at midnight and complete it before sunrise. (if u complete fast enough that is) Normal marathons are conducted during the day which is hot hot hot~ and i hate hot~ :P
At the beginning, we ran together, zhicheng, eileen, yanting. Wj and his friend join us later. It was so humid and we keep sweating like hell. Dunno is it because of the many runners cramped together or wat. ANd one nice thing, as we start to run, we can see the aeroplanes fly pass us above our heads clearly. (Maybe that explains why one of the sides of finisher medal shows a picture of changi airport.) And there are drummers and pop music at the start line too, causing an adrenaline rush in us too. :) Well, the first half of the route is easy, cause its mostly flat land. Once we left the ecp route, and we ran the park connectors. It was tough. sometimes i wonder how they built the park connectors de, so many series of ups and downs, this is not a roller coaster park.... =.=
When i ran about 25km i feel very sianz. The run seems very long and never ending. Imagine u run and stop, run stop and a FEW times and u realise that its not even a km covered. Argh. How long this had to go on. Well, at least i still in a state of mind over body, still can take it...yet. And the drink stations are so distracting. Just when i gained my momemtum and running smoothly, the sight of drink stations tempted me to stop le. Especially the power gel, muscle rub they offer. Not to mention jelly, bananas too. haha. blame on my greediness, not hungriness. lol.
The last 10 km is GRUESOME and PAINFUL. That was the time where running seem to be a heavenly task to do. Imagine u run and stop, run stop and MANY MANY times and u realise that its not even a km covered. Arghhhh!!! Or rather this is the time where the body starts to take over the mind, Even i try to run, my legs will scream at me trying to stop. Cannot make it. For the last 7km, i walked all the way to the end point. At this period of time, walking is even more mentally challenging. Since u are walking, u are taking a longer time to cover the distance compared to running. And u had to keep convincing urself and urself to go on. Best to leave ur mind blank and leave ur legs to do the walking. Even the pretty route marshals who cheer for us also no use. haha. Just when i am at the last lap, One of the marshals, end point is just at the river. yeah, i saw the river in front of me and i was like so OVERJOYED. But when i reached the river, i saw the route extending to a big detour around the river. Oh man! that was like another km more la!! BAstard, give us false hopes. Walk la~~~
Took a total of 6 hours 38 mins (0638hrs) to complete the marathon. And...it still haven sunrise yet. :) Heh, at least i achieved my objective. Zc fall out due to injury, EL and yt came before 8 and wj soon after that. haha. At least we completed it. :) The finisher T-shirt looks cool and there is a finisher medal too! Wow, my first time recieving a runner medal leh~ hehee.
This is my first 42km marathon and i think its probably my last. Argh....dun wish to go through this torturing experience again.. Haha, At least thats what i think for now.

Oh my...my legs still hurts...especially my knees. Aww..how to run for tommorow marathon sia.. :(
Been a busy day. Morning go office and everything seem quite normal to me. My office supervisor gave me the chills when he asked me to take half day off. Why all a sudden so good? 反而觉得更不自在. :S After leaving office, sneak to Junction 8 to repair my phone. haha, its cosmetic damage but hope they wont charge me. :P After its work again at site. All the site supervisors took off so left me to cover everything. tired. After work still need to go for 2 consecutive tuitons. Cant even have a proper dinner. When i reached home, my sis told me:" How come u WEAR ur shirt INSIDE OUT?" O.M.G I didn't even notice! Imagine the whole day, all my office IA collegaues, all the passers by at vivo, my tuition kids, din even notice that and tell me! = . = "h.a.h.a." Too shack liao...

Aww..my legs aching. Yest went with wj to run 20km around his neighbourhood. haha, doing last minute training for the sundown this sat. :P And...oh man, it sure is not easy. Running is okay, the problem lies in the mind. How long can u hold on and keep running... and when fatigue sets in, do u really feel like giving up and stop? or persevere and keep running on? Its mind over body or body over mind? tough choice and always easier said than done. Come to think of it, why do i signed up for it in the first place? Because of one person who said was going to sign up but never in the end. -_- haha, never mind, guess it should be "fun". I am not alone anyway, hehee. DETERMINATION!

Ah ha!
My IA ntu prof sent us an email. Maybe things doesnt seem that bleak after all, if what he said was true. :) Oh well, maybe its not that bad after all. Hope so. ^_^
Accepted one more tuition assignment. Initally felt like rejecting but the kid's parent ask me to give it a try. Ah, somemore i am recommended by my other tutee's parent too. Feel bad to reject. Now i got 3 "kids" to handle. Aww. Todae went for the second lesson. When i reached there, she was nowhere to be found. Turns out that she was playing at the playground downstairs. -_- Halfway thru the lesson, she was like dozing off already. haha. She said she was tired, but other than that, she was active and obedient, unlike the other male tutees that i have. haha. And did i mention her house is so near yet so far? Still in admiralty area but took me half hour to walk there sia. Zzz..
Went to Vivo Toysauraus to buy a gundam model for one of my tutees. Well, a promise is a promise. haha. Hope this serves as a motivation for him. :) (but i think its HARD...)
IA ending soon...already starting to count down! 2 weeks plus more! :D But i got no plans for the hols too. No COR trip this time and well...

Yesterday went for Jolene's wedding dinner. Haha, first time attending a friend's wedding. May 16th, seems like an auspicious day, heard there are many other couples who are also getting married or engaged on this day too. :)
When we reached there, we are greeted by Jolene and her husband. We were very quite surprised to see Jolene in a totally different manner. She looked totally gorgeous and beautiful!!! Maybe its becasue she didnt wear her specs and her makeup was splendid. Haha, every gal will look pretty with a good make over. Now i truly believe it. HAha. Our table was mostly COR peeps so no new friends to make. hehee. Saw Ronald too!!! :D been such a long time that i last saw him!! :D One funny thing is that when the bride and groom walked together, She always seems to be frowning. :P Maybe her grown is too heavy for her or shes tired ba...
On the way home, while talking with Isaac, we make friends with Barry(the groom)'s second brother and his family who were with us on the same train. Haha we recognise each other that we were at the same wedding from this gift that we got.

Judgement Day.
My ntu IA tutor coming today for my second assessment. Also the day i see my office supervisor, wp's true colours.
As usual, i and my ia colleague sat together with wp and our prof. Wp starts the ball rolling...bla bla bla. Although the way he says sounds nice, or rather he's trying to sound nice actually. But deep inside his words, there's a lot of SARCASM. Every word that he said i felt so uneasy. I was really fidgeting in my seat while he was talking. After he had finished , he left us to the prof to talk privately.
The first sentence that our ntu prof said:" Apparently, you got a tough boss". !!!! Wow, he only talked for a short while and u KNOW everything???!! REALLY?? NO. Then i KNEW the TRUTH. Our prof revealed to us about our gradings given to us by our supervisor 2 months ago. It wasnt good. . . (not to mention, this time the grading is also isnt getting better either...or it might be worse!)
When we heard that, I and her feel really SIANZ. ........ HAIZ.
Our prof tried to console us . . . telling us to take it optimistically. Like in the real working society, you cant possibly get a good boss always all the time too. At least we experienced it now in IA, the real working life. Our prof also said that he understands that we have a demanding boss (Obviously, from the way he talked just now in front of us ) and will try to reduce the weightage of the grades given by our supervisor. Okay, thanks, at least i can still see a bit bit light now ............
And this is NOT the end.
After the talk, we sent our prof off. We were both feeling quite down now. When we went back to office, WP asked us:
"刚才我给的comments很"好"hor?" (!!!! First blood!)
"hmm. 对！我们会"记"在心里的..." (i just said this without thinking)
"其实，我的comments可以把它说得"更好"的..." (WAR!)
CAnt believe he actually say those words out himself. NOW, both of us are feeling pissed off now... feel like just 干脆罢工 tmr! Damn U......

Oh well, sometimes it really is true . haha. The prof finally agreed to give me my allocated project, together with yf too. :) Although the way he gets it, is a bit more dramatic and funny than mine. Lol. (maybe the 'stabbing' incident is still fresh and clear in everyone's mind, especially the profs.) HAHA.
Yesterday finally managed to meet up with cat and yf. this time, seems like the group is getting smaller. Really hard to get everyone gather once more, especially during this IA period. We ate dessert at white dog cafe at vivo there. Amazing the food there are nice!! Especially the mangomalicious! haah, love it, so thick with mango taste!
Before that we watched the movie: 17 again. Wanted to watch this movie long ago, because of Zac, his acting in high school musical is still fresh in my mind. And this movie is not bad, funny too! Haha, how many a times do we actually wish to go back to our teenage times and rewrite our life? ;) Well. Dont regret for the decisions that we made and do it right. ^_^
Just checked my ntu mail just now and saw an email by my IA ntu tutor who said will be visiting us next week. Oh shit, and the final report due too! ANd i only like 10% done. OH NO Oh No oh no!!!!

FYP list had already been out and what a headache this system is. First phase is where we go find the projects that we are interested in and talk to the profs and "negatiotiate" privately. haiz. Needless to say, those rumoured to be "good" profs surely had their projects under them taken up fast. Its quite worrying to see the list of allocated projects getting longer and the list of avaliable projects getting shorter. Even my IA mates at office already had their projects allocated after one day the list is released. So fast! They are all under the same prof somemore. Later i found out that its actually my site buddy who "tipped" them off on who are the better profs. (He is already year 4 and finished fyp b4 le). Oh well. Sometimes they can joke and chat around with u while at office or at work but when it comes to academic matters and results, "self" comes first before others. Haiz. the harsh side of reality. :( For me i already emailed a prof about one particular project that i am interested and he replied very enthusisatically and quickly. However, when i sent him my result slip upon his request, he never reply back or confirm ever since. When i asked him, he said "erm its a demanding project and there are also other students wanting this and hes still 'considering' "... =.='' Oh man. Another "practical" person. haha. at least say so earlier ma. At least i can still find other projects first... hmmm...
*Anyway, after never hearing from him, i sent the prof another mail. yf looked thru and commented that the contents sounded desperate and a bit hostile. erm. "haha"?
Month of MAY le. How time flies. Been doing quite a number of OTs lately too. Argh. Why cant it be earlier? Now i hardly can find time to do my final report too. :(
