Sparks Dry Run

Hmm...recess week is getting busy and busier. Sparks dry run today is at ECP, such a farr place from my home. :S I dont wish to take mrt all the way to the east so i went together with the clementi pple form woodlands.Ec, sam and ct. We took bus there, ended up we realised that we are nowhere near the designated meeting place set by kallang. Thus, we told them them we go straight to ECP. We slept on the COLD bus and had some "food" at bedok interchange. There, we met up with hy, wh, zy and yh and qm. Haha, all the clementi and farrago pple are here...wonder who the kallang pple are waiting for then?hehe. We took our own sweet time taking bus and walked there. (btw,we are already late and nobody seems to care anyway...). At that place, we realised there wasnt a lot of pple. farrago had like 5-7 pple?clementi only 6. Total volunteers like only 10 plus...even the seniors also only the centreheads coming. Compared to our response for our hitea dry run and their sparks dry run, it WAS a HUGE difference sia...

Their dry run mainly consists of icebreakers games that we are needed to run through. Standard games except a few that invloves playing near the sands and some "wet and dirty" games. A few fun games. One of them is the "Follow me?" game. Where pairs stand ard in circle and there is a chaser and runner. chaser must chase runner but need to follow what runner did along the way. runner can "sub" anyone in the circle. Basically, the unlucky one will be the chaser until he/she manage to catch the runner. The chaser will be very tired, haha. Very funny lo, Athene! the way she runs was like she was "enjoying" herself? She kept screaming and shouting while running. (very high...LOL)

Due to lack of pple or not many pple playing, some games are not worth mentioning. hehs. The last game which i think was the most fun is the "wet and dirty" games. Haha. 2 groups with each representative sent out. 2 persons face each other and play scissors paper stone. the winner will get to choose the flour, egg, water or whipped cream to throw at the loser. While the loser can only choose a trash bag or umbrella to defend. Nice idea right.dunno why i am always the first few to get chosen to be the "scapegoat". at first, i am too soft and threw a handful of flour. haha, next time i just threw the whole plate of flour at sh! She was all "white"!haha! hmm, as a result, i got targeted. I got whipped cream on me. so messy! Haha, Athene also another funny person. When she lost the scissors paper stone part, she just stone there and scream and scream, doing nothing to defend herself. HAHAHA, does she expect that pple wont throw "stuff" at her just becuase she keep screaming? later, she explained thats she forgot what to do(except scream!)..After everything ended, Jy silently sneaked besides me and throw the whole plate of flour at me! Woot! Now i really become all "white" liao.. Guess i am the dirtiest that day... Haha, think everyone should be more daring and have more fun ma!

Everything ended earlier than expected, like 1 plus..Yay! we chatted and had lunch at bedok interchange hawker before we went home.

HITEA

Well, the event that we had put in a lot of effort and brainstorming had finally came. WEll, a lot of particpants were late and they did not even seem apologetic. Next, quite very few volunteers from our batch from other centres came and help. There are even a few that last minute said they cannot come. Very disappointed. Disappointed as our own batch, they never come and support us. :( Well, i guess many of us have CAs and tests next week...so forgiveable.(if thats the reason, i guess). A lot of seniors came and support though. :) The meeting palce for icebreaking is at fort canning park. nice place to be at but the way to get there is very long and tiring. haha. And its really tiring and troublesome to coordinate the particpants to come and meet at the same time. Some heck care, some take their own sweet time, some totally ignored my instrucions, some message me only VERY LAST minute....*MAD* And there are 3 particpants who did not turn out at all. Result in C group having no particpants and had to spilt up.(also indirectly cause the 2 hour delay between the game stations, i think)

The food trail was quite fun and my group members are really good, capable and nice. Got those super on and enthu de, El, Ym, Yt, Alvin...and the main "star" of our group, De BAo! MAny thanks to him leh! Instead of me leading the group(i am the GL btw), hes the one who leading me and us! Later, i found out that he had worked before in chinatown before, thats why he knew all those places and streets so well, and hes good at solving clues too! Even the rainbow maxwell clue, hes the one who solved it! *clap clap* Haha, we always crashed into C and Qr group. Its either we are too fast or they are too slow :P The food are also nice, i like the dim sum the best! the chee cheong fun... *yummy*...Really, the whole food trail i enjoyed it, especially the eating part. hehs. And we performed very well during stations(i did not help at all, or rather lazy to help), I thought we will surely get the first prize but in the end, we got 2nd place. Oh man...difference of 2 points only leh! In the end, what happened to the vouchers, i also dunno...haha.

At last, the event is finally over! Anothe big stone off my heart. Time to move on further. (still got Cas and lab report... >_<

Valentine Day

hmm...this day finally arrived. hehs. I collected the flower(1 champagne rose) and the cookies(the one Yy showed us at cc) early and waited for her to finsh her lesson. Well, due to some unforseen cicumstances, ended up waited for her for 2 hours. >.< At first, my greatest worry is that she wont accept my gift but when i met her later...i knew i worry too much. Because she alrready recieved a few gifts from somebody le. Including 1 big red rose! I had to admit the rose did look more magnificent and bigger but mine got nice packaging leh! even the cookies too! =p Well, as such, besides a word of "Thanks" from her, she doesnt seem surprised or touched ...*sigh*... Later at the bus stop, one kallang pple saw us. Hopefully she wont get the wrong idea and start spreading....


What i can say now is that i really feel relieved after giving her the stuff. Its like i had done what i can do and should do. After today, theres no more significant stuff that i can do anymore(like SS gift exchange etc)......As for how things will turn out in the future, my personal guess is nothing much and this "thing" will die down soon...Haha, so no more juicy gossip news for ya all le ;) ... Yeah, let nature takes its course. Time to move on. =)

school starting soon ...again >_<

Alright, really have been slacking from chu yi until now.Nothing to do, no bai nian, even the outing to friend's house is cancelled. Er...how come all my friends not so "好客" one? Haha, been really rotting at home. Doing tuts...mass smsing(to kill time and see who bother to reply...none!>_<)...play pc games...watching downloaded movies...wah, there's how i spent my chinese new year. Haha, very relax. =)

Now, back to reality, next week onwards sure got a lot of SERIOUS stuff to do. Firstly, is the HITEA event. Oh man, really lack of particpants ... Gonna push and mass email schools this time. We had to lower down the target age group i guess. Also called KFC, since they are the ambassador for the deaf, they might be the most helpful. But not really, one totally ignored me and the other aske dme to wait for their reply. Well, at least i tried, if really got not enough participants, also cant be helped...the effort was already put in...
Next still got the lab report. Got to complete it before the one week break. And somemore still got EE2oo2 CA...Argh...the one i afraid the most..And still got the Valentine's Day thingy...*headache*...Well, take things one at a time ba....hehs.

Xin Nian Chu Xi...Chinese new year eve...

time sure flies by fast...now is chinese new year eve le. Haha, one thing i like most of CNY is not the angbaos but the long holidays!~slack~~. furthermore, i got only 1 relative in singapore only, the rest in malaysia. So dont realy have the joyous mood of bai nian. May need to find some thing to do during cny le. maybe go friends house ba.hehs. Surprisingly, aunt invited us to eat steamboat over at her house. Haha his year should expect more angbaos le, after all,both samantha's brothers got married...hehe.
Oh yeah, as usual, my cousin printed this year fortunes for us. the 12 zodiacs. I and she are particularly interested in ours, that is the year of the ox. Sad to say, the descrption says that for those in the year of OX, will have half of the year to be unsmooth and hard! Oh mine!However, its also sas that we will have a lot of 桃花 too! Well, dunno whether its a good thing or not:P

Dinner is normal steamboat, but today got red wine! :D:D:D I drank 2 glasses and i can really feel my blood circulating over...feeling warm and my ears are red..Lol...a bit headache too..haha, the last time i drank red wine at ah bi wedding, my ears also become very red...haha! Ths time too! hehs, secnd aunt says thats good, at least it shows ur blood is in good circulaton!haha. Happy chinese New ya Eve to all. Prosperous Rat year to all!~ ~ ~:)

Another sat. This time got make up lecture at school. Then met up with yy and wh at boon lay mrt.yy sugeested to buy sparklers(sounds fun!), but in the end we did not managed to buy any at JP. so forget it. :(
The booth for Hitea is set up at an deserted corner and only 5 pple signed up. or rather, its just a family of 5 pple. >.< Things not looking good, lack of HI particpiants, got to find a way out. CC, as normal, well, to me , is getting a bit sian. Nothing much to look forward le... The number of pple going for bbq later is not many. me, yh, alex,wh(only 4 guys???). yy, ellie, qr,hy,C. So in total 9, abt half. =( Haha, before we set off, Qp asked me something, abt whther i bought something from nayr. haha, seems like qp(She got a haircut similar to ellie,Ellie num 2!)and ellie(she was besides qp when she asked me) knew it too, after qr. Gosh, NOW i knew "some pple" cannot keep secrets de. =.=
There is a bus catered for us to bring us to West Coast park. Wow, the seniors sure put in a lot of funds and effort into this bbq. Cause the HIs are going there too, i see. When we boarded the bus, i was the last to get in. I saw C,yy,wh and a few sitting at the back of the bus with one empty seat besides her. I was about to go there and sit(after slight hesitation) but guess what? Out of nowhere, Issac went there and just...SAT...THERE! that spot! >.< (! I never knew he was there in the first place!) Along the way, ellie suggested to me to include some food like chocloate or cookies in addition to the F that i am going to give her. Not a bad suggestion, but i am really not confident that will she really accept it or not..even just F alone..
I made friends with Alyorisus and Darren. "chat" with them. My signing really lousy... =.= Must practise more. Not only that, these 2 also knew the "rumour" between me and her. and they keep teasing me, especially that Alys. OMG! NOW i knew more RSPHI pple cant keep secrets de! >.< (i dunno how they knew it...must be the seniors ba)
Well, the bus brought us to the wrong carpark, we need to walk on foot to the pit. To make matters worse, it is raining! Further more, the bbq food got delivered to the ntu instead of west coast park. Now we need to wait even longer. :( (haha, side note, P todae dressed quite nicely and pretty. too bad, ** is not here...hoho)
Throughout the bbq...i found myself quite lonely. the gals stick together, yh, alex together, left me and wh. Haiz. No one to talk to me. (and i dowan to talk to Alys, they keep teasing me until i found them irritating!) To kill time, i and wh help out at the cooking. Haha, had u ever noticed? Last bbq at orientation,and even bbq this day, those few who helped to cook are always those few. The seniors are there, and only wh and me are there to help. haha, the gals dun seem to like to cook hor...(lazy!) We got celebrated xf and alice birthday with a big cake. After that, we got lao yu sheng too.
Overall, its one huge RSPHI gathering...dunno when will we have another such a big gathering later on. The BBQ Sounds like fun overall, but i dun really think its fun though. =( Something is lacking ba...what is it...*dunno*...

school stuff...

Lately not much new happenings except been quite busy with school stuff. got the new Design and Innovation Project.IF not yf told me abt it, i would not have any group or know about this. This big group got 20 pple. and it was divided into 4 sub groups. In the end, me, hy and yf are in one group with 2 others. kind of feel bad to seperate Jh and Sebas ...after all it was me who brought them in. :S Busy, as we keep changing topics and deciding wat topic to do...Then we still got the hitea event with me as liasion, i need to keep contacting the particpants...*busy*...
