I must be crazy now to accept 2 more tuition assignments during the midst of examinations now. Well, no choice...financial problems in family now. :( And luckily, these 2 new tutee kids are quite okay to handle. However, i got quite a surprise when i met the second tutee kid! he was a Tamil! Well, not being racist but just not mentally prepared. :D

I had been downloading quite a number of movies(again!) and i had just watched "Enchanted". It was a very romantic show and suitable for the young at heart! haha. There are some fantasy elements and a classic fairy tale in the show. It starts with a cartoon show, then the cartoon characters "appear" in the real world. ANd there the story goes... there are some really comical scences and a lot of singing. These singing and songs are really nice~ And just like all fairy tales, there is always a happy ending. In this movie, there is a irony in that they actually changed partners! But nevertheless, they still found their true love. =)

28th March 08

Today is friday and yet i am not in school. Yay, managed to squeeze all my tuts on other days and become a 3 day week! As for lectures, e learning or self learning ba...lazy to come to school for lessons le when the exam mood is drawing near... :( (exam mood coming also not much of desire to study too... >.<) Today met jh and Seb to celebrate jh birthday. how funny, we wanted to treat jh to dinner and somehow he cant make up its mind what to eat. Waraku? No jap food plz. Breeks? dun want to eat meat. Orchard? too far.Food court? (U kidding me! i came to town specially for you just to eat food court!?) Finally we managed to settle on The Asian Kitchen. What a traditional guy. haha. but i dont really like the food here...left my Viet Laksa half eaten. >.<

Hehs, we chatted about a supernatural practice involving a ring and a red string tied around it. It can determine when u will get married and how many children you will have, including the sequence of male or female children. Seb sounds as if it was like 100% correct so far! Imagine, if a couple try this thing and their results tally with each other(their marriage year and number of children), It can REALLY means they had both found the RIGHT ONE! Well, i was sort of TEMPTED to try it out on myself but to think of it seriously...what happen if i was shocked or not happy with the results? Then not knowing it is better than knowing it. After all, its supposed to be a superstitious thing but...up to u whether u believe it or not. =)

After dinner, we had our ice cream at the Andersons. this is the first time i eating "proper" ice cream and we ordered the Anderson ice cream classic. *full* ^_^ During our ice cream eating, we also mentioned about having an outing game called the PaintBall Fight. Something like shooting each other with a gun using paint pellets and completing objectives. Its very physical and real like and invloves many players, about 10 to 15. Its very fun! We are very excited about it and decided to have one during the holidays. We intend to ask our DIP project group first, if not enough people then we asked army or cca friends. Heh heh really look forward to that~ :)

March 25

Been really quite bored...no more cc...no more gathering...everything seems so restless. Been spending my free time for the past few days watching my downloaded movies such as Kung Fu Dunk, Jumper, The eye, The mist etc...haha, i am a fan of piracy! hehe. Speaking of KUngfu Dunk, those words that "Jay" said to "Ah Sa" was very interesting and 耐人寻味。

因为我从小就喜欢吃冰淇淋，但是每次都吃不到，所以为了冰淇淋 我可以拼了命。。。你就像冰淇淋一样.

So...where is my ice cream...?

But then think again, dunno why its getting hotter and hotter. Its the HEAT from the coming exams in 2 more weeks time! ARGHH!!! Back to reality...

Upgrade upgrade...

Yesterday just went to Sim lim square with ssy to buy desktop ram for my PC. i already had a shop in my mind to buy but i still asked a few other shops too to compare prices. Turn out that my choice is right. Haha. And......my ram works!! Now, i had 1.5 Gb of ram and everything seems soother and faster! Yay!

Now now...to think again, i had been writing mostly abt rsphi stuff in my blog. Hmm... something seems to be missing. My social circle is so limited!!!! Gonna expand it...but how....? :(

Its been a long time that i met up with my AI gang of friends. haven seem them since the last impresario. Sigh...and then i had DIP project again at May..whether we can still meet each other soon. somemore, yz is flying to korea next sem and we wont be seeing him for a period of time. Which reminds me of a lyrics of a song in my chinese elective:

眼看着高楼盖得越来越高 我们的人情味却越来越薄
朋友之间越来越有礼貌 只因为大家见面越来越少

LAst CC

Yup, todae is really the last cc le. hmm...i tot i expect few pple to turn up but looks like the attendance is still not bad. Haha. Even yf who told me he will not be coming but came in the end. We had this nominations...of who is the future centreheads and coordinator. Nominations is supposed to be confidential!(hmm..this line sounds familiar...) But in the end, we sort of have the same few candiates in mind. I guess, more or less, the choices of everyone are the same. ;) But then whether "they" want to be the CHs themselves is another problem... Anyway, do "they" have a choice? ;)

We had steamboat later at chongqing, recommended by issac. We had 28 pple for the steamboat! Wow! including us, seniors and tutees, this is the biggest farrago gathering so far. We had a hard time finding seats for all of us to be together. but in the end, we managed to squeeze together as one big whole group. ( lucky we did not get spilt up...) haha, its quite funny that we can observe some eating habits of some of us here during steamboat. Different eating styles of eating steamboat. The seniors like to cook a lot of noodles and starchy food. The gals like to "dump" everything inside the pot and then take everything out to form one big mountain of food. And some like to play around with the pot. And us like to eat the traditional way, dump everything inside, and eat only those that we want to eat. And you can also see that some liked to eat a particular type of food. The seniors like shell food(seafood), one is a big prawn eater(unbelievable), one is a veggie lover, some liked to eat cooked food only, Ahh...and i liked the dumplings and the fish! the fish is good! And finally we will know who are the pple who can eat a lot and who are those "sprinters"(eat a lot at beginning but eat less later) and "marathon runners"(who eat slowly but a lot till the end). HAha. And they turned out to be gals!!!LOLx. Now i think i know why sometimes they said gals are high maintenace! haha.. :D

Well, it will be the last time we wil see the tutees again and less often we we will see each other too since cc ended. hope we have another outing agian, this time, the overseas! =)

15 MArch 08

Todae is the cc exam. yeah, i asked my tutee to come early for make up cause she really needs it. But in the end, quite a disappointment, she left the last 3 sections of the paper totally blank. She said she cant rmb all the words and have a flu, headache..oh well. Hmm..the saddest thing is that she said she dun care whether she pass or fail, that kind of make me feel unhappy. As if she dont bother put in any effort? haiz...anyway, she is not coming next week and we cant have a make up test for her too...

At first, i still wondering whether what we are doing after cc besides the movie. but in the end, it seems that SPARKS pple indented food for us so YM,el,wh,zy, Pp and I went to ntu for the sparks bbq. the journey was so long from cc to ntu and when we reached, it rained heavily! wah so unlucky! Lucky it stopeed soon aft that. At there, also cant see many volunteers from clementi. a lot of seniors seniors are there though. The bbq is just started(how to eat?)after the rain and we still need to rush to vivo to watch movie. In the end, we just ate the leftover packed lunches.(so this is the food they left for us, huh, =.= haha) nevermind, at least we got the sparks T shirt from them each. LOL, they even boasted that their shirts are better quality than our Hitea ones. They said our hitea tshirts is so "low" quality that we/they can "see" thru them! HAha, must ask the Pnp lo! Heeeheee...

We took a cab and rushed to vivo just in time. The cab driver was also very talkative and keep talking non stop. and eL sort of keep giggling and gave comments. haha. We watching #Rule Number 1#. Well, theres me, Ym,ym, YY, Ae, El, yt,sh watching. Hmm..the show is really not bad, although the horror part is mainly the frightenening sound effects that make u keep anticipating and some really bloody and gross scenes. I find the storyline very interesting and how they linked the various parts of the shows together. And the concept of their ghosts passing from one pple to another is also very creative.(and more realistic). Its also like fun to watch how police "kill" ghosts. there are also a few signinificant twists and turns here in the story plot, ESPECIALLY the ending. The first part and the last part are linked. Of course, the main "attraction" of the show are the RULES. After watching the movie, u will know how "true" the rules are. hehe. =) Haha, throughout the show, u will know which senior is the most "daring" and the most "timid" one too. haha. Very funny, is that during the scenes where we are supposed to be scared and screaming, u will hear laughter from ym. Oh my. =.= And sh said that she watched like only $4 worth of show only and she said that she never saw one ghost!( evertime scared, take up jacket and hide, thats why never saw a single "ghost") LOL. After the show, everyone was like analysing the plot, why it like that, what happened and we are like having a mini review and discussion. haha, nice show, i like it.

for the past 1 week or more...

LAtely been busy with CAs lately...cant even breathe properly... :( Yeah..even my tuts start to lag behind...arghhh...And thereis this SU option available le too. I decided to use it on my HC805 modern chinese lyrics. Haha, this elective is interesting but to score well really need a lot of "guts" to challenge the PRC scholars and foreigners chinese proficiency. (i wonder how yy manage to score so well for this lo...oh my... =.=)

And then there is this choice of choosing my specialisiations for year 3 and year 4. This is quite a headache too. Because what electives we choose to take in year 3 will determine what area of final specialisation we be doing in year 4. hmm...i had approached my mentor, my friends mentors comments and surroundings factors plus a bit of research myself. Haha, i never was really interested in electrical and electronic stuff, particularly the circuit analysis part. All along, i was interested and keen in the infocomm area. But then, there are 4 sub categories too, which made me wonder which area i should go to. Need to consider the difficulty of the subjects, hows the industry doing, job factors etc... One prof told my friend and said that regardless of what u choose, in the end, when u step into working society, what job u be doing may not be what u studied at all.In short, u can still work in other related areas, need not be what u are taking in Uni. Whats most important is to to follow ur interest and study hard and get a good degree. Okay, this is the most consoling and most useful advice i heard so far. Thats it!~ =)

SS gathering?

So fast its already sunday. We supposed to have a SS outing at evening but it seems that the response is poor. So ended up EC invited the clementi centre pple but only me, zy, Ec, Zc, M and sh! WEll, not many pple but just nice for board games at Minds Cafe! We had dinner at a taiwan store before we went to play board games at Minds. Zc was a regular member there, so he recommended us some games. Like "jungle BReak". Very similiar to "snap". And the FIrst HAnd" game. All are reaction games. haha. The last game we had was the "Sabogteur". This game is something like mafia. Got 2 groups of players, one is gold diggers and the other one is saboteguer. Simple, just take turns to build a path to and discover the gold. Gold diggers aim for gold while the other party try to stop or mislead them from taking gold. There are also many fun action cards to use. Haha. M was like having poor luck that day, whatever he do, he always get "blocked" and get suspected. As usual, u wont know who is who. Must use observations skills and instincts. Zy and M got "saboteuer" role the most. At the last round, i got this "bad" role and i really played this role well! (just like mafia.... ;) ) Nobody suspects me until zy is the first one to find out the truth and he seems very "shocked and disappointed". haha. Even Ec said i am the most cunning among all. hehee. :D

WELL, this is my own view. hmm..people always said i played games until very 投入, maybe to a point that i am a different person from what i normally is. Haha, but if everyone played games the normal and very honest way, it would be very boring right? If you dont do something "special" or "abnormal", these games will not be fun at all, and ended up nobody will remember it. At least, if everyone "let go" and "dare to play, wow...the effect would be different. It would be fun and everyone will walk away after that, thinking how exciting or how special those games were...yeah. Morever, where can you display ur "talents and skills" or ur other side of ur personality and character besides in games? ;)

Impresario 2008 finals

I and ssy are still very sleepy and tired after the chalet but we still need to go to mediacorp for impre finals. We dropped by popular store to buy the required envelopes requested by jw. We then took a bus to bishan then switch to another bus to Mediacorp. we are already 2 hours late but never mind...we are too tired to bother. When we reached there, we are also not needed yet. Only to see kw so busy here and there. Later, we found out that we will be helping out as ushers. haha, we saw a few familiar faces.Yz and Gz no need to say(forced by jw to come), there are also a few from RSPHI, S.y and CT. Tf also appeared at the last minute, 1hour after the concert had started. The Impresario is really nice and a few contestants are really good. There is this "hot" favourite malay contestant. He IS talented and creative but i think he "overplayed" a bit too far during the finals and that may cost him his winning place. The special guest is Kelly Poon with her 2 songs. Not really a fan of hers but i heard last year Impre they got Zhang Shao Han as special guest leh. Wow. And then there is this funny video where jw is the main lead! HAha, its really funny and nice! I should get the video from him and see... Before the concert ends, I and ssy need to be at the agtes to send the VIPS out. We waited for a long time and the VIPs is only 1 or 2 persons only...Chey. Everything ended smoothly and we had supper with yz and gz at AMK. long time never met up with them. I also had a nice chat with yz on way back home...hmm...he bought a new dog...*want to see it!!!!!* ^_^

Once every 4 years...

Once very 4 years, this day, 29th Feb. We had a farrago outing/chalet at downtown east. Supposed to meet earlier for "bonding" within ourselves but it seems that sleep is the main priority for most of us. Haha. The number of pple turning up is considered good. However, we always seems to have a problem of organising the programs. Everyone is there, dunno what what are the plans or what to do there. We played a few games at open field tentage, relax and watched movies in chalet. We invited the seniors and the HIs, Ic and A. They are the most "on' HIs among all. aha. The seniors came at night.

I guess main program is the night cycling. We rented 10 single bicycles and 1 2-seater bike. Hmm, it wasnt easy at first to ride the 2-seater bicycle. We went for a early bicycle ride with the HIs first. Like a warm up. haha. Since the HIs are not going to stay overnight, we accompanied them for a ride at the park. night cycling was really fun. The weather was cool and everything seems so peaceful. Yeah...really like 这种感觉。。We cycled along the park and halfway R lost his matrix card but we managed to find it back. (luckily!) We also played at some of the stations, like rope climbing etc...haha. Hmm...however... "He" seems very down and quiet throughout the the whole cycling trip...wonder whats bothering him...=(. WE then went back to eat, play cards and watched a bit of death note movies. At first, i thought that there are only few pple staying overnight, but it seems like majority is staying overnight.(due to night cycling,, they stayed i guessed.)

About midnight, we went for our actual night cycling. All our batch went and the seniors left behind to "sleep/look after" in our chalet first. Then it seems nobody knew the route as in how to go. Ended up, we just explored and ride along Pasir Ris and Tampines. I chose to be at the back of the "riders convoy". So i can "SEE and WATCH" everyone from the back. haha, feel like a guardian angel. hehee..But being at the back really can be quite lonely at times though... =.= The challenging part of the cycling is taking turns riding with hy, haha. We also tried to teach hy how to ride alone but i think it takes more time to do that. We rided for quite long, a few hours? Along the way, we went for some food at a coffeeshop and also some durians. Hehs, everyone did know how to eat durians but i guess the guys like it more than the gals.(durians really not enough, next time must eat MORE...) On the way back to chalet, i offered to exchange with Alex and ride with hy. It turns out fine! It just required extra concentration and effort to control the direction of the 2-seater bicycle. Once you get the hang of it, everything is alright le...yay! (better than the rest, hehe! :p)

When we returned back to the park, wh suggested we watch sunrise but everyone looks really shag. And it rains..so everybody went back to chalet. To Sleep. The seniors are also kind enough to leave early and left the room to us. Really thanks them for their kind consideration. Most of us went to sleep after bathing but a few of us stay awake to continue watching death note movies. I tried to sleep but dunno why, i cant fall asleep at all. sianz. =.= After checking out, we had lunch at food court and i and ssy left early for our impre thing.

This is the really the first time we had our own organised farrago outing together. the main purpose of this outing is to bond us together and i guess hmmm, more or less that objective is achieved. maybe not That much but at least got some. After all, i really pleased with the turnout rate lo...except 3 who cant come. We did mention to have an overseas next time during the holidays and look forward to that!~ =) (of coz, again...whether someone bother to organise that is another matter... =.=)
