29th Dec...

Another RSPHI thing for today, they called it the tutor's workshop. i thought i was late buy i met her(c) at the bus interchange.(finally!) i sat beside her and as expected, she can engage quite well in conversations JUST that it must be initiated everytime by me. Haiz...she wont start a conversation by herself. (damn tiring).
We received quite a news that chinese course may be stopped soon since the participants response is declining. Wow...what a news. It seems like "my batch of 1985" everywhere we go sure got some "problems" de...haha...Coincidence. After that, we sort of go IMM together within farrago. WE ate at the "taiwan stall"? "A" and yh ar quite "funny", keep pushing me to sit besides her during dinner. (thanks for ur effort, i really appreciated it, but then again, maybe things are better if left alone?*sigh..i dunno*) We shared 2 meals together. Hmm...she liked to drink lotus soup. haha. After dinner, we found one corner to sit and chit chat and played Truth and truth game. Everyone gets a turn and when it came to me, E asked a "dreaded" question: who do u like in farrago? A and yh again nudged me to say "her" name out but i decided not ba. It is not appropriate now ba. I defined my definition of "like" as in cheerful, happy, beautiful smile, i said hm. (*dunno whether is it the correct choice or not though,wat a headache*) And A said "BUT ACTUALLY he liked..."
I did try to talk as much as possible to her on the way back to mrt but also not much to say. i acn see that she is sort of "reject" and " a bit unhappy" whenever A and yh to to pair us together. Sigh...well...wat to do....the path to love sure is not easy...:(
To make matters worse, i went online at msn later and found out that yy also knew this secret. Wah...how many else knew ah...?

27 Dec 07 SS outing

After rotting at home for a few days, finally we got SS outing.yay! Some of us have lunch together first(at food court again...haha..my group sure is thrifty, good.) Then we went PS to watch National Treasure. Nice show! Not bad, a lot of excitement, suits me! WEll..."grump" sure have a strange habit, always want to sit at seat number 7 or 11, says its her favourite number. LEts see, 9 pple turned out, including the seniors. 3 seniors and 6 juniors turned out...not bad, although i wished hm will be there too ba. haha. After the movie, we went to have "dou hua,豆花". nice...although its not the first time i ate there..haha. J and C and Ec soon left. The rest of us went to arcade to plays ome basketball games there.M is not bad. P is alright too. lol. Hopefully the next time we meet, we will have more pple and more planned activities. Looking forward to it. :D

Christmas

CHRISTMAS EVE...
everyone seems busy with their own things...looks like i will be every bored again...We met up to loiter around the town area at about evening time. MAn, its is quite deserted...so unlike its normal days. We are all wondering where is the crowd disppearing to...lol. Towards the night, the streets are getting crowded as we approach the Orchard area. Now, there is the CROWD!. People keep spraying foam everywhere, everyone is squeezing here and there...haiz...i am not in amodd to be in such a crowded place.
CHRISTMAS DAY...
holiday, also nothing much to do though, so we drop by at kok house. HAha...to eat some of his mum curry too!`~Yummy!~ His mum even let me brought some home...Lol. At night, met yf on msn, and he been "interrogating" me about my "progress" with her. Haha. Then we sort of have a long chat and he "motivated" me to ask her out. Well...why not? So i did...and...yeah, i failed ba...Anyway, just as wat yf said, at least u tried. :) Thanks, yf! :)

final performance at J8!

Sat. Junction 8 is our last songsign performance venue. We met to have lunch at food court. then we went to the nearby HDB flats to practice...or rather play some card games to warm up first. Like murderer(again!), heart attack...We also had the cheap $1 bubble tea there. The highlight todae: GIFT EXCHANGE!
Gift Exchange within farrago group first. One by one, we disclosed everyone's SP identity.When its my turn to give C, i was sort of nervous and when everyone saw the gift that i am going to give her...Everyone is like: "WOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!........" :S
Well, YY gave me her hand made card, very creative and nicely done too. I like the words that she wrote on the card:

Next is our own SS group gift exchange. Quite sad, in that my partner(JY) is not here and worse still, i am also her gift exchange partner. In the end, i am the only one who dont have any gift from other person, bringing back the gift that i bought for her. *sob..sob...* For the rest of the time and the dinner at thai express, i appear quite not that cheerful. Until the actual performance while we are performing, i got a surprise, JY appeared at the front audience!!! Later, we managed to exchange gifts. :D Just when we are about to leave J8, Xv, hm, J,Sl, actually already bought a gift(shirt) for me! they said that it is quite sad for me to not have a gift so ....(they must had bought it during dinner time...) WELL, i am REALLY TOUCHED! THANKS! :D

We went to Ang Mo Kio hub at the Nebu cafe to play "taboo" games! haha, we had fun there1Especially Hw, we can see how funny she can be when its her turn to give clues." Er...ER..ER..."with her hands gestures, mouth expressions...:D:D:D YEah, that marks the end of the SS practices and performances. Really, i missed the days we had together...

Wisma Performance

Friday. Wisma performance. Met HY there, who is the video recorder from WSC too. Well, his hairstyle got a severe "makeover", almost cant recognise him. haha. WELL, i sort of screwed up during the last part of my performance. ARRGGHHHHH!!!!!!
After that, i and yf went to IMM buy gift boxes. Lucky we make in time and the DAISOU shop in IMM is really good! A lot of stuff inside. At least "her" gift is now settled.

Bugis and Jurong Point Performance

We met early on wed to have luch together at subway. As we have few pple, we ate togetehr with the kallang pple. Subway...quite expensive sia. We have a few rounds of practices first but becuase my partner, P, is not here yet...i cant practice interaction with her. She will be here only about evening which might be not enough time. Well, the bugis stage is not as "open" as i expected..there are many passers by but few are watching. At least not that bad, although i did forget a few signs. :P. And P forgot to move up front, really forgot her formation.:S After the performance, me and ssy and yf and yh and Vj shop together for some gifts. They persuaded me to buy a soft teddy bear too, but...I....
SEcond Day is at Jurong point. As usual we met at school for lunch first and by right we are supposed to practice but we ended up playing cards and games.lol. guess no one is really in a mood to practice more..all want to slack..haha..The Jurong Point stage is more crowded than the Bugis stage. Maybe because there are second and third floors where people can see. Well, its really a surprise that kh turned up there! but then since he also very free and stay very near, it is not really surprising to see him there too..hehe..

feeling....????

After a night stay at jw hall, now back to last ss practice at school. todae we have 8 pple..not bad...(P. is back!) and the seniors treated us to pizza! Guess that really brightens my day!~ We had a few formations, namely, the bugis/JP, wisma and J8. We sort of able to get the feeling back again...there are more interaction and expressions now. During the pizza break, kate and ryan suddenly pushed me to a corner to "interview" me. They said that there are rumours from the "Perfect Christmas" group that there is a few "potential couples" inside my group and they wished to know more. (must be SSY who anyhow said something to them...). They asked me a strange question. IF given a choice, who would i give my heart to? P or HM? WWHAT....a question...I said both at first(joking)but under pressure to choose 1, i said HM lo. WELL! i really hope they wont show that video around...its getting worrying me...i dont wish to have any misunderstandings!
We stayed back after the mass performance to practice a few more rounds. The seniors stayed with us too. WELL. Ah hui said that i and HM got excellent interaction and feeling for the wisma formation, but not that good for other stage formations.HE then said:" How come? Dont tell me...hmm...because of someone...you..."
So what do i think? Dont tell you ... haha...

songsign practice again...

Monday. dunno whether is it the monday blues or not, todae just seem not a good day. Todae pratices as again, we got only 6 pple. ...Guess there is seldom a time we get more than 8 pple. Even worse, the whole group morale seems low, no expression, weak songsigning(or is it just me?)...well...guess everyone is sad and sian of it already. Even i cant seem to find my usual songsigning "feel". Later we had a gfarrago outing again. I and the usual few go gym first and then meet ellie and the rest of the girls for dinner. Ang guess what?They were SO LATE! Agreed on 7pm but yet turned up at 8 plus. oh man...i hope not all gals are like that...zzz...
The gathering this time does not seem as interesting and exciting as last time though. Mafia games still continue but now we had a new game called "Indian Poker". Its another Bluff game and i "LIED" to wh. Guess he sort of pissed off with me and i think he wont ever TRUSt me again. Well...we should play less of these bluffing game s le...or rather, i try to lie lesser(but it wont be fun anymore..)Hope, he wont take it to heart. :) I would not want to lose a friend because of this....

farrago night outing

Friday. After our usual songsigning practice, we agreed to have a farrago outing to chill and have fun in school. i, ryan, zy and wh went gym first, after that we met yy,ellie and yf for dinner together at hall 14. We had the korean food. Personally, i dun find it delicious. :( After dinner, i and yy, ellie , zy went to yy room to play poker cards. "tai ti". HEHE, i was on a winning steak! Haha..win until the rest also complained! :D Too bad we did not gamable though. :P
We agreed to meet at ADM and there we are! There were alex,yh,yf,ssy,me,hm,zy,ryan,wh,ellie,yy and later joined by the seniors, alice, yt,david. We had a few rounds of MAFIA games...almost like the murderer game except with added element of "spies" to it. Cant believe my luck, i actually got chosen as "mafia" THRICE! And one round is even a classic where i totally get everyone fooled by letting everyone think i am a spy instead! however, after that round, everybody had a bad impression of me and ssy even said that:" Although you won this game, but you had lost ur character!" OMG! Trust ssy to say something like that. Aiya, he seldom said anything nice anyway. *bleh* LoL, WH even gave me a new nickname of "Mr Mafia"! Wow, i can defend myself one, since i am given the responsiblity of being the "killer", of coz i must maximise it and fufill its responsiblity, using "creative" methods ma. Or else the game would not be fun le, agree?
At about midnight, we went star gazing (for a very very short while) at top of ADM. Then we had supper at "AH FA" acroos the bridge from NTU. We ordered the famous roti pratas there. There are also more seniors joining us there, including gb,EL, kate... LUcky Davis sent us a ride back to hall 14 or else it would be very late if we walked back.(already 2am plus when i reached hall) Thanks! :)

Chinatown Recce

Well, its on Thursday and we went chinatown for recce for our HI.TEA event. Its already a few days ago...so i tried to recall as clearly as possible. By right, its only meant for the programmers but i still tagged along, after all ,er uh, there a few girls coming too. Might as well take it as a kind of cca outing together. Let me see, ellie, sh, hm, yy, wh, ssy and yh were there...though i really hope more will come though but its a good start. :) We checked the few stores and places, including the korean store. Starnge, they never labelled most of their food products though, so troublesome we had to ask everytime. Maybe its a newly opened shop ba.Something funny along the steets is that there are some shops with a bright red number at the front of their shops. Cant believe i actually went in and ask: "what is this place for?" " Its for calling ladies!"
We had lunch at the MAXWELL food centre and we ordered some "lei cha" or Hakka tea to try. haha, although i am a hakka myself, i find the food not that nice tasting. Unique taste ba. Even the "suan pan zhi' is also so salty...is it meant to be this way? (dunno). We also tried out the "horlicks+soya bean milk". High calcium, good for health!taste nothing special though, horlicks and soya bean taste lo, a bit thick though. Later, we dropped by a temple and we went in to have a look. took some photographs too. :) Finally, we ended the recce with dessert at one of the stalls.

Well, i soon meet up with kw, gz, yz, jw with ssy to loither around at town area. We learnt that from gz that 810 SIr was spilt up and everyone is seperated. Dunno whether is that good news or not...after all, i am in 810 SIR too! see how ba...

Chinese Course Open House

Todae is Sunday, the Chinese Course Open HOuse(CCOH) for Hearing Impaired(HI) to come and register and play and have an intro to the chinese course as well, which the seniors say, the participants will be our students later on. Well...there are only 10 registered particpants but only 7 came. And out of theese 7 , there are a couple of "elderly students". And its hard to imagine that they are HI, especially those few girls..so young looking yet HI...

We had the burst ballon game, treasure hunt and lastly Captain's ball. I guess its the captain ball game where everybody enjoyed it the most, even the volunteers! U an see how the younger Hi enjoyed the game among themselves! After that, we watched a japanese movie called "Armchair Theory". Its about the japanese way of culture of how to woo girls. How funny!

After everything, we went to the kbox at kallang leisure park. We had 15 people there, including the seniors from farrago and clementi, and me, zy,wh, ryan. Too bad yy and hy cant join us, though i wish they really can join us. We had one of the biggest karoke room allocated to us...and how CRAZY it turns out to be! Especially the farrago seniors girls...yt,sh,alice,ym,EL...SUPER HIGH...wow..u WIll be surprised...Even wh and zy are not bad either at kbox. They like to sing canto OLD songs...And zy, he sure sings very well! Even wh gave a short hip hop dance in front of us! haha! SO HIGH, everybody! must be influenced by the seniors. Ryan got a good tweaking voice too, especially when he sings the "One Night In Beijing!". LOL. :D
One good thing about such a big group is that everybody feels more daring and not that shy. Everyone sings a lot and loud, full of feelings and expressions..and that is really enjoyable. :)When we finally need to leave, or else we cant catch the last train, zy and wh still hogging the mikes...cant bear to leave the kbox...haha. :D

Songsigning...

Well, its been like almost 4 sessions of the songsigning practices, and we had our first so called "mass" performance on Sat. How funny, especially when we came up with our own formation with a bit of acting inside. How awkward it is...for me to act a lot...some more its acting like a bit "over romantic" and "dramatic" i should say.(but then again...hmmm..the acting may not be a bad thing..haha...quite "enjoy" it in a certain way..hehee)Imagine me ACTING at every mass performance from now on on every practice! NO!!!!

Sad to say, i dun like it when there are always missing people in my group at every practice. Its kind of irresponsible, those who missed it. =(

Songsigning practices

Well, this week and the coming and following week will be mostly about songsigning practices. My group's song is "Last Christmas" by Hilary Duff. This song is quite fast and not easy to sign...i always make mistakes and the moment i get distracted, i forgot my signs..oh no...Stress stress...

I visited the new gym with ssy, ryan, wh and zy after the practice too. 0_0 The gym..just reminds me of army...so similar..even the smell of the equipment too...haha. Too bad ssy need to meet his xh, cant join us...haha

Hmm...i am thinking of buying a psp slim..can play games, play music...but quite expensive at the moment. I think about it first...

SC Run

Ah ha! I am doing a job at the standard charter run at one of the drinks station. together with yf and ssy. Surprisingly, i met yy~ at East Coast Park with her friends for night cycling. What a coincidence to meet her!(although i knew long ago that she will be in that area, but then again, its still a coincidence that we met in person.lol)

Knew some new NTU friends, those stationed at the drinks station, particulary yuan he who is yf friend. haha, a nice person. taught us how to play BRIDGE. Itwas quite shack as we did not have enough sleep throughout. Haha, we also met shan jing too, from weapons. Never expect to see him and him being one of the SSC volunteers. lol. We also met kok kok mee while he passed by us. HEHE.

Overall, the $140 is still the best reward! :)

someone birthday...

We had an outing to celebrate ssy birthday on the 30th. We bought him a polo tee and treat him to a jap buffent at gushi bowl at suntec. Wow...the buffet is expensive sia...$52 per person...the most expensive buffet i had ever eaten so far. As usual, the food is not bad, especially i like the fried cream dory, yummmy! Its main specialty is the cold snow crab, where its crabs leg are big and large. The taste is not bad, although i find it taste quite the same as other normal crabs leh. The most special thing abut this restaurant is the "dong dong dong, 1 , 2, 3!...." haha...we will all grab tat special food served, which is lobster or crayfish meat? As usual, we had a fun time chatting and gossiping while eating...haha...
